Things I don't give a sh*t about

Is it just me, or are we being bombarded with things that really, who gives a sh*t.
In no particular order is a list of a few things that people are talking about, talking up, and I can't figure out why.

#1 Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest


The first movie sucked. Why make a second one? We are about to be bombarded with images of a crazy looking Johnny Depp (like the one above) on TV, in magazines, on billboards. I really don't want to know want what might be involved with the special McDonald's meal that will be put together for this, but I am thinking it will be used to up the sales of the filet o-fish. Yum.

#2 Nelly Furtado, "Promiscuous"
On first listen, I thought this was another crappy Black Eyed Peas song that Fergie was way too heavily involved in. Then I thought, great, this is going to be in every car commercial, Pepsi commercial. The I heard that it was actually the "I'm like a bird" singer! What happened here? Sellout? Anyone?

#3 Paris Hilton, Stars Are Blind

This is the first single off Hilton's forthcoming debut album (and hopefully the last). The song has already hit the iTunes Top 20 downloaded songs!! I have a theory here... It could be tweeny-boppers spending the 99 cents they found while cleaning out last seasons Louis Vuitton bag in preparationtion for their summer Coach bag. But I think Paris Hilton is buying her own song, over and over and over again. It pays to be an heiress. The song is also climbing on the radio charts!! WHY!?!?! Can we please look at some of these lyrics that are whispered, over mixed and over produced to not even sound closely to what, if she had any talent, she would sound like singing: "Those other guys all wanna take me for a ride/But when I walk their talk is suicide/Some people never get beyond their stupid pride/But you can see the real me inside/And I'm satisfied, oh no, ohh"..."I can make you nice and naughty/Be the devil and angel too/Got a heart and soul and body/Let's see what this love can do."

#4 Superman Returns
I just can't figure out this movie. It's getting some hype, but I don't think people are excited about this movie. Howard Stern went to a screening and liked the fact that since the last Superman man movie was made, effects are so much better and when Superman flies, he FLIES. I want to see it, but I don't want to see it. Perhaps it is reminants of disappointment of Bataman Begins. Then there are the rumblings in the press that Superman is gay. "Some have also seen the hero as a gay icon, forced to live a double life with his super-self in the closet. A recent edition of the gay magazine "The Advocate" even asked on its cover, "How gay is Superman?" Well take a look at one of the posters for sale through the movie... you might have the answer.

My typical day at work involves dealing with annoying bosses, stupid clients and corporate america bullshit. My dream job would involve making statements to the press against the champagne company that I feature in my vidoes and rap about on my albums. What a great problem to have during your work day.

I guess all I can do right now is complain about the shitty coffee in the kitchen and someone's moldy lunch in the fridge that has been there for over a month.

The Best Worst TV show

You don't have to think you are smart and answer questions for money like on Who Wants To Be A millionaire, but the new NBC game show, Deal Or No Deal, will test how far you would go in order to possibly win ONE MILLION DOLLARS- and by test, I mean test your greed.

THE RULES of the game are pretty easy to pick up. Host Howie Mandel (who doesn't shake the contestants hands, as he is a HUGE germaphobe)does a good job of dragging the game out and help sway the contestants to make a DEAL OR NO DEAL.

Basically the reason it is the best worst TV show on is because you can't turn it off!! You are amazed at these people's stupidity!! One second you want to see them win, the next second you hate their decisions and want to see them lose. This is the only show that you will see people give up $74,000 with a less than 20% chance to win, at the most, $400,000. When in your lifetime will you ever have someone hand you $74,000??? Probably never. Sure, the odds you will ever have those odds to win $400,000 aren't that high either, but remember, the house always wins.

TrashyPantz to attend Beastie Boys movie Premiere

One fall evening in October 2004 at Madison Square Garden in NYC, yours truly, along with the winner of most TrashyPantz pics (Mr. Ian Kelly International) and the coolest brother of blood relation, Mr. O Segall, attended a Beastie Boys concert together. 50 cameras were given to lucky fans to document their concert experience. Their footage of the show (from the stage to the bathrooms)has been pieced together into a film to hit theaters at the end of March.

Your fearless threesome will be attending a pre-screening of the movie in NYC on March 23rd to relive that amazing concert. Although the ground beneath us won't be shaking like it was during the encore when Sabotage was played, we are glad to be able to experience it all again.

TrashyPantz loves the 80's, but I think I would rather remember the skinny, leather pant wearing, hip swaggering front man when he was at his best.

Concert dates in the US are in the rumor mill, but 2 European dates have been confirmed.
"Guns N’ Roses have been confirmed for for a summer gig in Dublin in June.
The rock giants will be joined by special guests Motley Crue for the concert on Friday, June 9 in the RDS Arena."
If you happen to be in the UK this summer:
"Download Festival - which takes place from Friday 9th until Sunday 11th June 2006, at Donington Park, Leicestershire - has confirmed more acts which will play across the weekend. With Metallica confirmed to headline on Saturday 10 June and Guns N’ Roses closing the festival on Sunday 11 June."
