The article below, titled Professor: Fractions should be scrapped, reflects a thought I have had for many years. Except... my article would be titled, Dana: Addition, Subtraction, Division, Geometry, Algebra, Square Roots should be scrapped, Percentages deemed most important so we know how much money we save when shopping a sale.
